Paintouts
Every fall, OPA members come together in their respective
states to spend a day painting outdoors during OPA’s Annual Great Paint
Out. Members volunteer to
coordinate paint outs in their state so that local artists have an opportunity
to meet and learn from each other. All members are welcome to attend as many paint outs as they like.

OPA’s goal is to have a paint out in every state, each
year. Larger states might
have more than one paint out provided they are not on the same weekend and are
in different parts of the state.
Requirements to volunteer include enthusiasm, a passion for
painting, knowledge of good local places to paint, and some organizational
ability. Click here to learn more about how you can volunteer to host a paint out in your area.
Paint outs for 2009 must be scheduled with OPA no later than
July 1, 2009 and should take place sometime between September and November.
If you have
further questions, please e-mail Karlene Mondloch at membership@oilpaintersofamerica.com.
